The Grandezza Hotel Luxury Palace offers a charming atmosphere with spacious rooms overlooking the lively square. The daily breakfast was a delight, with an excellent variety of fresh and delicious options. The staff were polite and attentive during my entire stay.
No early morning coffee service.

Very outgoing and friendly staff, very good breakfast, perfect location, aple space in the room..
No WIFI in the rooms. Parking is a bit tricky, as they have only a few spaces in front of the hotel. Also, there seems to be a problem with ventillation in common areas, as the corridors smell of the kitchen, but in the room it was OK.

The location was stunning and lovely, close to a Gothic Catholic cathedral. This hotel was in a lively area short walk to the farmers market, the historical city center on the pedestrian area and city centre and train station.

The room size The room cleanliness The design
I did not enjoy breakfast since there was not a buffet. There was also not a variety of coffee and the one offered was not so tasteful...

Many of 3 star hotels in Brno look great on website but once you get in not so nice. Grandezza lives up to the pictures. Also, the restaurant is excellent and not overpriced for the quality. Room was big.
all good!

After reconstruction, part of this hotel is an excellent restaurant il Mercato
Reconstruction was made by somebody, who probably never stayed in any hotel. Everything is nice, new and gets feeling of luxury. But for ex. - lights are located, where aren't needed, but you have to use a torch, when you open your luggage on table for luggage. Doors to the bathroom are like to the pantry, and they coverd switch. The hotel still doesn't have a wi-fi (we're in 21st century) !!! Minibar is equipped like in two stars hotel, maybe less. The owner should hire better management, otherwise hotel after nice renovation (and probably very expensive) will die.

Not to mention the beds, which was like sleeping on concrete- unacceptable! I also expected at least a warm greeting or a complimentary gesture, but apparently that's too much to ask. Just couldn't give a good review.

A wonderful find. Magnificent view over the town and market square. The room was extremely spacious, clean and comfortable and breakfast was lovely. Only a short walk from the station, would definitely recommend.

Location only
From the first time I have entered I did not like this hotel. Lobby is completely unfriendly, furnished with kind of left-over pieces from different eras. Light in hallways comes on only after you step out of elevator in complete dark. Wi-fi was working only in the lobby area. Linnens are starched to extreme, I was not able to fall asleep and had to find silk scarf to cover my pillow with. Bed is as hard as cement floor, if it was not for my daughter travelling with me, I would have checked out at midnight. Bathroom is another disapontment...acces to bathtub is difficult and I was happy I did not have my mother with me as she would not be able to even have a shower here without risking her life trying to get in or out of the tub...

The hotel has been renovated few months ago and it is perfect. I liked the luxury in the room that was also very well equipped. I am traveling very often either for business or tourism and I have experience by many many hotels in different countries. I can securely say that I really like everything in the hotel. A! btw, you'll find the bed very comfortable but try to get up early and enjoy that incredible breakfast (even the basic is great).
I didn't dislike anything.
